Season of Stewardship 2016

“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”     (Peter 4:10)

We at Christ the King Parish will begin our Season of Stewardship and faith in action this weekend, October 29 and 30. Our journey in stewardship begins with prayer. We pray that God will change our hearts and minds to be one with Him. Our Lord began his ministry by devoting a night to prayer. The next day He called twelve ordinary men to come and be his disciples. He calls us today, through our prayer, our faith, and our actions to continue His mission and be His disciples.

Take a moment to reflect and thank our Lord for the many blessing in your life. Ask and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit as you consider how you might return to God by increasing your gifts of time, talent and treasure. Beginning this weekend, we will all be asked to make a commitment to share our time, talent and treasure with the Lord, and with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
