One of the most frequent questions pre-teens ask themselves is, “Who am I?” Our culture gives them a wide variety of answers, but we as the Church know only one answer matters: that they are a beloved son or daughter of God who is intentionally desired, perfectly unique, and capable of changing the world, one relationship at a time. At Christ the King’s EDGE program, our goal is to continue this conversation by providing a safe, fun place for 6th-8th graders to find a solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. EDGE nights, social events, and service opportunities are all rooted in faith, fun, and fellowship.
EDGE meets at The Alley (CTK’s youth house) at 810 Trione Avenue on various Wednesdays called “EDGE Nights” from 6:30-8:00 PM. (We do not serve dinner at EDGE events unless specifically noted, but we will always have snacks or dessert!) Social and service events may take us away from The Alley; check the current schedule to see what we’re up to this semester!
