Welcome to CTK Life Teen

We hope you find a home with us as you continue your journey of faith in God throughout high school.  We have many fun and empowering events planned for our youth throughout each year to help them grow in faith.  From service projects, Life Nights, trips and retreats, we hope you find a welcoming environment to discover your faith.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM LIFE NIGHTS AT CTK
Life Nights occur every Sunday after 5 PM Life Teen Mass (unless specified on the schedule).  Each night begins with dinner and fellowship from 6-7pm in The Alley.  Following dinner, teens are lead in games, talks, and spiritual development until 8 PM.  The Life Teen curriculum is used with the goal to “strengthen our teens’ Catholic identity, while rooting them firmly in Christ and His Church.”  Topics range from knowledge of God through scripture and tradition, personal identity, healthy sexuality, morality, and much more.

CHILD PROTECTION TRAINING
Are you looking to volunteer for one of our many activities and events scheduled at CTK Life Teen this year?  This includes everything from cooking on Sunday nights, chaperoning events such as bowling or trips like the March for Life.  In order to do so, you must be child protection trained at least 2 weeks before the start of the event. St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope has classes the second Tuesday of each month beginning August 14 at 7 PM.

If you have already completed the initial class, please keep your training up to date through the Archdiocese online quiz, http://www.mobarch.org/childprotection/quiz.cfm. Your retraining should be completed each August at the beginning of the school year.
