Pure and Simple, An Archdiocesan Event for 8th Grade Students and Parents

Our culture is teaching our children about ​human dignity and self-worth, and often messages from movies, Netflix, or top 40 radio ​are not what we want to convey. The truth about who we are, how we are made, and what we are destined for is so much more beautiful!

Pure and Simple
“Pure and Simple” is an evening presented by the Department of Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Mobile, proclaims these truths in a way which is relevant, discussion-driven, and inspirational. Following Mass and dinner, the evening begins with a large group presentation, followed by guys, girls, and parent breakout sessions. The primary goal of the event is to facilitate the communication between teens and their parents.

About the Presenters
Pat Arensberg, Director of the Office of Evangelization and Family Life, will lead a large dynamic group discussion as well as the parent breakout session. Young adults formed in small group discussion will be leading the guys and girls breakout sessions.

About Our Event
When: Wednesday, September 26 at 5:30 PM
Where: Begins in the Church with Mass; dinner is included.
Who: 8th grade students from any school are welcome to attend; all should come with at least one parent. 

This is an extra-credit opportunity for CTKCS 8th graders.
