Play Like A Champion Today Sports Ministry 

As a CYO coach, you will complete the training program through our "Play Like A Champion Today" Sports Ministry. The Sports as a Ministry initiative of the Play Like a Champion Educational Series is a research-based, child-centered curriculum designed to help recognize the spiritual nature of sports, train youth sport coaches to be effective ministers, and promote the moral and character development of our youth.
 
All coaches and assistant coaches will attend a coaches workshop and be certified to coach in the Archdiocese of Mobile CYO. Coaches and assistant coaches will receive a PLACT workshop certificate along with a badge indicating our solidarity and commitment to CYO and PLACT. 

After the initial training, coaches will be required to update their certification annually online HERE.
