On any events/trips requiring bathing suits, CTK Youth Ministry students will be having fun, but should remember that everyone will be representing Christ the King, our ministry, and the values of our family. It is our duty to provide a Christ-centered atmosphere for all of our participants. Bathing suits for guys and girls should be modest. If you have any question about whether it is modest enough, you should not bring it.
Girls: must wear a modest one-piece bathing suit with shorts over it. Bikinis and triangle tops are not allowed—girl’s bathing suits cannot make any kind of “v” in the chest. Bathing suits should have no cutouts where skin is showing. If you do not have a bathing suit that fits into these criteria, you can wear a colored t-shirt over it and shorts over your own bathing suit. Be prepared for our chaperones to ask you to wear a t-shirt or shorts over your bathing suit if they agree it is not appropriate.
Boys: boxers should not be seen under too short bathing suits (or shorts). Swim wear should not sag.
CHILD SAFETY PROTECTION
Any person that has graduated highschool that wishes to volunteer with the youth programs must have gone through the Archdiocese of Mobile's Child safety protection curriculum and be up to date on their renewal.
