OUR MISSION
Through our EDGE (grades 6-8), Life Teen (grades 9-12), and Confirmation (grade 11) programs, we at Christ the King aim to raise young growing disciples in love with Christ and His Church, transforming their homes, schools, and communities by lives lived in and for the love of God.

OUR PROGRAMS
EDGE (6-8TH GRADE)
Discipleship is all about entering into a relationship with Christ. Edge at Christ the King seeks to provide all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders with a chance to do just this as we learn together how to better love Christ and His Church. EDGE nights, social events, and service opportunities are all rooted in faith, fun, and fellowship. Our goal is to foster friendships and a desire to grow in their Catholic faith!

Christ the King Life Teen is a Catholic Youth Ministry Organization providing a safe and welcoming environment for any teen wishing to strengthen their faith in God and their understanding of the Catholic Church all while forming new friendships and having a whole lot of fun. We strive to provide empowering events for our youth throughout each year to help them grow in their love for God and one another. From service projects, Life Nights, trips and retreats, we hope that you find a welcoming environment to discover your faith and love for God and the Church.

VOLUNTEER CORE TEAM
Our mission is to create a joyful community of growing disciples in love with Christ and His Church. This is able to happen because of Catholic young adults responding to their baptismal call by evangelizing the youth of our community. We are looking for young Catholics who:
- Have a passion for Christ and His Church
- Are living a virtuous life in accordance with Christ's Church
- Have a desire to share this passion with teens
- Are committed to a life as a growing disciple of Christ
Are you a young adult with a passion for evangelizing teens? CTK's high school and junior high youth ministries are recruiting new Life Teen and EDGE Core team members for the this school year. Life Teen and EDGE meet year around, and our programs are sustained by young adults who are passionate about leading teens to encounter Jesus.

CORE TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
- Continually grow in your own relationship with God and maintain a daily prayer life
- Provide a lived witness of a Christian lifestyle in and outside of CTK events
- Provide a joyful, welcoming environment to the teens
- Meet the teens right where they are and serve as mentors / build relationships with them
- Facilitate and participate in activities and games
- Co-lead small group discussions based on the night’s theme with a high school teen leader or another young adult
- Lead small group prayer
- Help clean up and attend our debrief and prayer meetings (6:30-7pm)
- Prepare for Sunday night events by reading and following up on emails / communications
- Maintain an openness to other opportunities as presented (i.e. giving testimony or messages, helping staff retreats and trips, attending youth sporting and performance events, meeting them for coffee or pizza, etc.)
- Be a willing and holy Disciple of our Lord
